Clive Price - Full Biography

Growing up amid the industrial landscape of South Lancashire, Clive Price found he had an unusual condition. He could not stop writing. Stories, poems and songs - anything and everything would flow from his pen. It was like the Mersey in full flood. It was a fever. When a poem of his appeared in the local paper, that was it. There was no stopping him. His mum could not keep on buying 'exercise books' (remember them?) to feed this obsession, so she brought home some massive wallpaper sample books from a hardware store. And Clive just filled them up as well. Since then he has written several books, contributed to magazines and newspapers on both sides of the Atlantic, lectured on media and PR, and even edited 'Worship Together' magazine. Clive has led worship in a local church setting, presented a music show on community radio, written the occasional song, and hosted 'reflective worship' events. He is still trying to find out what worship is all about. His wife and three children keep his feet on the ground. But often he escapes to Wales and Ireland, studying Celtic Christianity and monasticism, and enjoying coffee shops on the streets of Derry and the hills of Donegal. He works mainly in London and Belfast.
