10 musts for worship leaders

1. Worship God, and if neccessary use music ...

2. That is a good leader, that imparts his gift in other people empowering them to be even better than I am...

3. Be prepared so well, as if You did not have the Holy Spirit, but while leading worship, listen to God that good it seems You were not prepared ... You need to be a prophetic voice to the congregation. Only God can minister to dozens or hundreds of people simulteounesly. We are not capable of doing that ...

4. You cannot make people experience the manifest presence of God. Only the Holy Spirit can. But what You shine from stage will sound louder then Your voice and it will be reflected in the worshipper´s response

5. God has created You uniquely - don´t strive to sound like any of Your heroes. For the seed God has planted in You originally will bear the biggest fruit. You are not a clone, You are the real deal ...

6. Be fast to forgive when the "darts" of the unreceiving parts of the congregation start to hurt You. It will keep Your heart from bitterness. Bitterness destroys true worship.

7. He must increase, You must decrease

8. The band will only sound as good, as their relationships allow, no matter the quality of their music. If You bond together, so will the worship in the congregation ...

9. Be a lover of the word - the right words will flow out of You in the perfect moment, when You´re spiritual tank is continously filled with words of knowledge, wisdom, encouragement and gratitude...

10. It is only the beginning ... You have seen nothing but a mere glimpse so far. The best is yet to come ...
