God is really moving over here in Belfast, there is a new season that we have come into, with an increased hunger for God, we are seeing answers to prayers like never before, there are many "wells " here that once flowed through this nation with the power of the Holy Spirit, they have been shut down for years, but now the wells are being reopened and once again this land of " saints and scholars " is seeing an awakening of hunger for God.

 | I like what you are saying, Liz. I have been going to Ireland since 1997, I think it was Paul Reid of Christian Fellowship Church who first invited me to Belfast. Then I went to Cork, Kerry, Dingle, Dublin, Galway, Clifden, Roundstone, Wicklow, Glendalough, Donegal, Derry, Sligo, Downpatrick, Gweedore - the list goes on. And I haven't been the same since. It has been something of a condition that has infected me - in the nicest possible way! Some of my friends thought I had a blood transfusion or something, to turn me from English to Celtic. I have seen the spiritual temperature rise over the past ten years or so, and it's encouraging. My prayer for Ireland is not for revival in the classical sense - that would be nice, but it would be short-lived. I pray that what will emerge now will be a sustainable spirituality, that comes up from deep within, from the gut. There is a well, and it is fit to burst.
