Hi there! I hope everyone is doing well, rejoicing in God’s grace and faithfulness, and learning to grow through the trials our He ordains for us each day!
“Revelation Songs” is the first 2-verse song I’ve written! I had to make a conscious effort to stop writing another multiple verse “hymn-ballad” - if I may be so bold as to coin such a term. After teaching “He’s Building a Temple” to our small congregation, I realized that I truly needed to try writing a simple, short song. The musical feel of “Revelation Songs” is intended to be straight-forward, confident, and driving.
In addition to continue learning how to write songs and “facilitate worship”, as Noel would say, the next two things I intend to learn are how to use sampling software to give a more realistic sound to the instrumentals I upload, and how to mix in a vocal track...
