Posted On: 22:35:41 1st May 2008My husband and I have recently stepped down from an 11-year journey, leading worship at The Rock Worship Center in the Napa Valley. We are still there part-time, but felt God "push us out of the nest." To make room for new things, to spread our wings and catch a fresh current. We are not sure exactly what that will look like, but dreams, desires and plans are stirring in our hearts. So we are waiting and loving on God.

It is so easy to lose your identity as a son or daughter when you are in "ministry." One of the great things about stepping back from a position, is feeling the simplicity of being loved by Father God, just for who you are, not for what you do. I am thoroughly enjoying that! I hope that anyone who reads this will feel that "spirit of adoption crying out - ABBA FATHER!"

We were recently invited to lead some worship with Georgian and Winnie Banov in San Jose and may be with them again in a few months. We are also planning a trip to the Philippines in the fall to go and minister at the churches that our home church supports. We are excited about going to give AND to receive from the Holy Spirit.
