6th May 2008 - High Places

I spent all of today with colleagues who are lobbying governments, international institutions and medical authorities at the highest levels, promoting a godly approach to public policy and medical ethics. They're not recording songs or reciting poetry or arranging dance pieces. Political engagement is their worship. It's just as valid as everything else. Whether we are music directors or socio-political activists, we are playing in the same band, and keeping the music going. And the world is upheld by our song.

Clive thanks for sharing this. So often we categorise 'ministry' and 'worship' as something that takes place in a church building. But it is important to realise that the people you have been spending time with are engaged in those activities through what they are doing.
