 | None of the "resolutions" actually apply to me, although the discipline they represent are all good... and I should no doubt apply them to my life. I was in France for New Years at a new church plant in the south, and un frere was crying out to God for more of Him, that "the fullness of the God-head would dwell in him bodily" as it was so with Jesus. It sounds like that's something God would want! So maybe that would be my New Year's resolve. "Faithful is He who calls us who also shall do it." (1 Thessalonians 5:24)

 | surely they are: eat healthy, get up earlier, stay up later, read more, exercise much more, practice more, learn to hunt, study greek and biochemistry, become rich, win the world and become the next obama.... or maybe i'll settle for taking a couple of walks....

 | About New Year resolutions... We will meet next Monday in our homegroup to discuss this. I just thought I usually fail when I make a law that I want to follow in the new year to come... but I want to think about areas in my life where I just have to say "Jesus, come and help me ... I can't do it myself!"
