There are two of us. I'm 50 & Chris is in his 20s. We try to share the work as evenly as possible.

our worship pastor is awesome! He would say "the only good in me is Jesus in me" or something like that but it is a real privilege to be a part of the worship team and to serve God with him. To God be the glory!

My husband (32) and I (30) share the leadership along with a trainee (also female under 40), an "associate" leader (female over 40) and used to have another young male leader under 20! So definitely a young leadership here...!

I couldn't agree more with what Jill has to say re: both worship in general and the worship pastor. What a guy! Really! Off the hook.

Wouldn't you agree, Noel? :-)

I must say that I think our worship pastor is the best! He never puts the music above finding the presence and heart of God. We could be in the middle of a worship practice and if it gets too technical, we will stop and just sit in His presence until we can get aligned with Him before moving on. 100% of the time, we continue with practice and the technical goes smoothly from then on out.
He is passionate about making worship that will completely bring glory to God, not just some good music that puts everybody in a great mood!

Wow! I didn't realize that over 40 was the norm. It gives me hope!
