Following my time within IONA and previously a number years with Adrian Snell (who I continue to work with when the opportunity arises and through whom I discovered much about our Judeo-Christian roots & rich Heritage) I returned to study (focussing for 3 years on the traditions of worship over centuries). Since then I have sought to bring some of these diverse expressions of worship together. Ave Verum Corpus (c.1342)is one such recording. The words of this plainchant were the first inspiration: 'All hail, O true Body of the blessed Virgin born, Which in anguish to redeem us did'st suffer upon the cross; Be to us at our last hour the source of consolation, O loving, O Holy, O Jesu, thou Son of Mary, O have mercy on me. Amen'
