Now that we've sung "He's Building a Temple" during services twice now, I have to admit - it's a long song! One option is to sing through only half the chorus each time, ending at "...and filled with His light", adding the 2nd half of the chorus only at the end of the song. I like the 2nd half of the chorus, because it emphasizes that it is God who receives all the glory as He builds His temple, one person at a time.

Besides the verse I referenced on the score and chord chart (John 5:17), here are a few more key verses that inspired this song:

2 Corinthians 6:16
Ephesians 2:19-22
Revelation 3:12

Enjoy!

The score is now available. I've changed the lyrics in verse 2 a bit, to a more positive tone. The chord chart is updated to reflect this change. I'll leave the poem as originally written, though - in case anyone was wondering!

Rejoice! Jesus loves us!

After getting some feedback about this song, I changed it very slightly to make it easier to sing. I've updated the chord chart to reflect the changes.
